I have been waiting all year for this book! Ever since I picked up Gabriel’s Inferno at the bookstore in December 2012, I was hooked. I went straight back to the bookstore and got Gabriel’s Rapture. That was always meant to be the end of the series but the author Sylvain Reynard (a pen name) received so much feedback that he decided to write the third book Gabriel’s Redemption and I am so happy he did. This book is a fitting conclusion to the story of Gabriel & Julia.

About the Author
Sylvain Reynard
Bio: I’m interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of the human condition – particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and redemption. My favourite stories are those in which a character takes a journey, either a physical journey to a new and exciting place, or a personal journey in which he or she learns something about himself/herself.
I’m also interested in how aesthetic elements such as art, architecture, and music can be used to tell a story or to illuminate the traits of a particular character. In my writing, I combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness.

After reading about Christian Grey and Gideon Cross I needed another guy to swoon over and I found him with the bad boy Professor Gabriel Emerson! When not teaching Dante to his University Students he haunts the nightclubs of Toronto! Julia Mitchell has loved him for a long time, ever since they met years before in their hometown. It takes the Professor a little while to realise who she is when she comes to one of his seminars. They hit it off on the wrong foot and there is already a lot of tension between them which makes for good reading. Their connection is strong from the start.
The story then unfolds with their adventures and how they need to manage their new relationship. There is also a deeper back story which can be very intense at times but kept me hooked!
I noticed on Sylvain Reynard’s website that you could read a teaser about the upcoming book. Curious, I followed the link to another site where Angie the author of A Whole Lot of Nothing has cast David Gandy as Professor Gabriel Emerson! Now I can’t picture anyone else so David Gandy it is! Enjoy these photos!

I am rating the books Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture both 5 stars since they captivated me completely. I loved the way the author Sylvain Reynard wrote and it was a very passionate and beautiful book. He has even has announced there is even a third book coming soon (when?!) and you can read a brand new Valentines Day outtake with Gabriel & Julia. I can’t wait for the continuation of Gabriel & Julia’s love story! I will keep you posted.
