I really don’t know why but this book Unsticky by Sarra Manning really stuck in my head! Even though it had a Pretty Women feel to it I really got into the characters of Vaughn and Grace. From the minute Vaughn see’s Grace in the shop and drags her to his restaurant, I was intrigued. Grace describes seeing Vaughn’s face and thinking that he’s ‘all angle’s’. I imagined that he would look something like an old fashioned version of Christian Bale.
I loved this book, I just couldn’t put it down. I would say it’s one of my favourite books ever. I read it in one day and it had a big effect on my brain! The characters were so realistic and I identified with them. They were definitely flawed, not perfect in any sense but that’s what made them so believable.
If you are looking for another intense bad boy Vaughn is definitely him. He’s not always nice and can actually be a jerk but he also has a soft side.
I loved Sarra Manning’s writing style. She normally writes Young Adult books but this book definitely was adult themed! I highly recommend this book and have rated it 5 stars for the simple reason that it grabbed me completely and I was hooked for a whole day!
