The Manhattanites by Avery Aster is a hot & steamy up to the minute series not to be missed! So far there are two novels in the series and I am part of the blog tour for Unscrupulous (The Manhattanites #2). These two books are stand alone books that can be read in any order. I read Unscrupulous first then Undressed (The Manhattanites #1) & I loved them both! Unscrupulous, although the second book is actually a prequel to Undressed.

I really enjoyed both books and read them quickly over a few days. They allow you to escape to the land of the über-rich and famous! I am actually heading to New York City next week so reading these books is very timely for me. I think you would enjoy these books if you like the Sex & the City type series of books with the gorgeous heroine and the hot alpha male! I liked the way the books are written in that they are funny and easy to read (but also very steamy!). I could relate somewhat to the main characters and the emotions they went through felt real to me! If you are open minded and looking for something HOT then these books are for you! The author herself has done the character casting which you can see on averyaster.com. The cast looks great and you can also get a good idea of what they look like from the stylish covers. I love how the covers are connected and relate to the stories. All in all, I would rate these books 5 stars since they kept me hooked, interested and connected to the characters. I am very much looking forward to the rest in the series!
