Synopsis

When Hailey crashes a Half-Life after party, she expects to find the bastard who knocked up her little sister. Instead she meets the sexy front-man who agrees to give her access to his crew if she gives him access to her body. All Lock demands in return are three days of complete control over the Sunday school teacher. With a contract, because he’s been burned before. 4 ROCKING STARS This definitely is a rocking story. Who wouldn’t want to spend three nights with a rock star? Hailey, a responsible and reserved, completely unpretentious and slightly naïve child care / Sunday school teacher, is in search for the person responsible for getting her sister (Chloe) pregnant. She is lead to believe that this person is part of the band’s entourage. On her mission to find answers she meets Lock (Keaton). Lock is your all-consuming rock God, living the high life with everything at his fingertips. He’s sexy, rough, impatient and gruff with a sordid past and is a recovering alcoholic. But meeting Hailey has piqued his interest. Why is he drawn to her? He had almost everything he wanted, but nothing he needed. Hailey walks in on a world unknown to her (sex, drugs and rock and roll). Even though this world is new to her, she is attracted to many aspects of it. Even to the point where she realizes her own desires. She is so innocent to this world of rock and roll that she doesn’t even recognize Lock for who he is, but is drawn to him for some reason. Will Hailey find what she is looking for? Hailey confronts Lock about why she is there, and the only way Lock will agree to her staying and investigating is if she signs a contract to stay with him for three days. During this time she will be at his beck and call for all his sexual needs and fantasies – only allowing to part after the three days. Hailey swallowed hard as she stared down at the printed sheets of paper in front of her. This was her own personal gauntlet, walking on the fire of her secret desires. She’d have to give Lock whatever he wanted – and get what she wanted in return. She hated it too. But she also kind of loved it. Even though Hailey is slightly shocked at the conditions, she is secretly thrilled. Her curiosity to her desires wins and she decides to live on the wild side for once. She wants to forget the boring responsible person that she is. The idea of it makes her weak at the knees and excited about what lies ahead. As Hailey realizes that she may be able to live a little for once in her life, she signs the contract. “Your wish is my command.” No more preamble. If she was really going to do this, he’d know now for sure. “I’m going to fuck you against that window over there, and I’m not going to be nice about it. Do you like to hurt, Hailey?” I loved that Hailey was simple, modest and innocent in many ways, but also wild and sexy in her own way. She was looking out for her sister but in the process she was discovering her own deep and personal fantasies and desires. Losing her inhibitions to this life style and living on the wild side for once was something she was looking forward to. A pinch started at the base of her neck, where it met her shoulder. He was biting her. With his teeth. She gasped. The pain radiated out to her breasts, down her belly, spearing her sex. “Oh shit.” And that she could hear clearly – her voice. Her curse. “Yes. That’s right, baby. Let me have it. I knew you were in there in your fucking cardigan. Fuck.” I loved how the story progressed between Lock and Hailey, their connection was exquisite. The rough, sexy rock God and the innocent sexy minx who loses herself to her desires. What they shared together and how each of them changes. Their feelings towards each other grow to more than each of them realize. Two strangers who become more than just friends and become more to each other than either of them had expected. “I missed you. I don’t like missing you.” There is a secondary story running throughout this book. Chloe and Tim’s story. Which was woven in beautifully? I loved this side story and in particular how strong and sexy Chloe is for her age. And Tim, he’s just awkward and beautiful in the one package. As well as this, we see all the other band members and are given a peak into their lives. Let me just say that Krist was captivating and hypnotic. I am so looking forward to his story. The authors worked all of these in perfectly. The writing was smooth and brilliant. The story flowed beautifully and all these secondary characters were exceptionally portrayed. Amber Lin and Shari Slade really had me gasping and panting throughout this story. The scenes were sizzling and I loved the surprises and twists along the way.
