Seven Years to Sin – Another Sylvia Day Treasure!

What can I say? I didn’t realise Sylvia Day had written so many books, but after reading the first two novels in the Crossfire series, I definitely wanted to read more! I wasn’t disappointed with this book.  This book captivated me from the very beginning.  It was another intense male to swoon over!

On Goodreads the author Sylvia Day says:

The idea for Bared to You came to me shortly after writing Seven Years to Sin, which also deals with a couple recovering from difficult pasts. In some ways, Bared to You feels like an extension of Seven Years to Sin to me, even though they’re set 200 years apart…

I am not normally into reading historical fiction but this one kept me interested.  It has that bad boy and the sweet female main characters who I enjoyed reading about.

After Jessica has an intense encounter with Alistair (she watches him sell his body for money) on the day before her wedding the two of them are bound together forever.  Although she has a happy and fulfilling marriage her husband unfortunately passes away and this allows the real story to begin.

I read this story in two days and it had me hooked from the start.  Most of the other books I’ve been reading lately are part of a series and this book also has some of the characters overlap with her other historical romance books according to Sylvia Day’s website.

I can definitely picture Eddie Redmayne from Les Misérables as Alistair Caulfield.  He has that historical romance type of look to him.  He can pull off the smouldering intense guy look that I read about in the book.

I’m giving this book Seven Years to Sin 4.5 stars because it’s a great read and kept me interested.  I’m definitely reading her other books including Pride and Pleasure, The Stranger I Married, Ask For It, and Bad Boys Ahoy! and they are all on my to-read pile!
